Rainer Spielmann

Rainer Spielmann (born 1957) has been working in the banking field since 1974. After his bank management training and working at the Sparkasse Essen he worked in the loan division at WestLB – Landes-Bausparkasse Muenster/Duesseldorf – as of 1979. In 1982 he switched over to WestLB Essen, working in the construction financing division.
After completing the Sparkassenakademie Duesseldorf in 1984 he initially worked as a corporate credit analyst at WestLB Essen. In 1990 he became a credit reviewer in the corporate group auditing business division of the WestLB Duesseldorf.
In 1994 Mr. Rainer Spielmann became the deputy loan department manager at the WestLB Paris. Within the WestLB he passed through various stations: Manager of the counterparty risk monitoring in the corporate division risk management support & control, senior-portfolio manager in the portfolio management department. In 2000 he became the manager of loan review, business division corporate auditing.
In March 2005 Rainer Spielmann started at the Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank as the business division manager of risk management. Since January 2006 he is the Senior Managing Director with predominant responsibilities for the internal risk management and investments, accounting and trust.
Effective 01/10/2006 Rainer Spielmann became Member of the Managing Board of WIB.
