Current Ratings - Overview

To support third party investors in assessing the risk situation of a financial instrument, the capital market uses the estimates published by independent rating agencies.
Through regular meetings with Management the rating agencies have a view of the strategy and planning of the analyzed companies.
Based on this information as well as based on their own quantitative analyses, the rating agencies evaluate the creditworthiness of the issuer in form of rating classifications.

The leading international rating agencies are Standard & Poor, Moody’s Investors Service and Fitch Ratings.

On 29 November 2011 Standard & Poor´s (S&P), the rating agency, has confirmed the top “AAA” rating for mortgage bonds of Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank AG (WestImmo) (Outlook Negative). On 30 September 2011 S&P has confirmed the rating "AAA" for public-sector bonds (Outlook Negative).

As of 8 December 2011 the S&P rating of WestImmo is BBB - (Outlook Negative).

The rating for WestImmo liabilities issued before 07/19/2005 and that do not have a term extending beyond 12/31/2005 remains unchanged at A+.
