The Bank
WestLB International S.A. was established in Luxembourg in 1972. As an independent subsidiary of WestLB AG, Düsseldorf/ Münster, we have made a name for ourselves in retail banking in the fields of securities trading and asset management. You will find us in the capital of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. There we prepare the ground for profitable transactions, with our own computer centre and a state-of-the-art DP system.
The Location
For centuries, Luxembourg has been the symbol of reliability. The continuity of its domestic and foreign policies has made this country one of Europe’s largest and most attractive financial centres – the ideal venue for providing asset services that bear rich fruit.

Security
Data are a valuable asset. They form an important basis for our day-to-day work and must also be available in the event of a technical failure, for example due to force majeure. With the help of our back-up centre, we are prepared for all eventualities. The back-up centre will - if the worst comes to the worst - make premises, data and equipment available without delay. This means that we can fulfil our functions for you also in an emergency.
