Changes in Supervisory Board of WestLB AG
Hildegard Müller and Dr. Annette Messemer succeed Dr. Wolfgang Kirsch and Harry Voigtsberger
The shareholders´ meeting of WestLB AG appointed Hildegard Müller and Dr. Annette Messemer to the Supervisory Board on April 30, 2010. They took up their appointments on May 1, 2010. As representatives of the federal government they succeed Dr. Wolfgang Kirsch, Regional Director of the Regional Association of Westphalia-Lippe, and Harry Voigtsberger, Regional Director of the Regional Association of the Rhineland, who left the Supervisory Board on April 30, 2010.
Hildegard Müller is currently Chief Executive Officer of the German Federal Energy and Water Association (BDEW). She was previously minister of state in the Federal Chancellery and a member of the Bundestag, and prior to that departmental head at Dresdner Bank. Dr. Annette Messemer was previously Managing Director in Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch Deutschland, before which she held various management positions at J.P. Morgan, the investment bank.
