Marc-Sven Kopka Leaves WestLB
Marc-Sven Kopka (40), Head of Group Communications, will leave WestLB on June 30, 2009 by mutual agreement in order to pursue new career challenges elsewhere. The Bank is highly appreciative of the professionalism and commitment shown by him during a difficult period. The Managing Board of WestLB AG wishes him all the very best both professionally and privately for the future.
Marc-Sven Kopka also successfully completed the comprehensive restructuring of the Group Communications business unit. As part of WestLB´s preparations for the forthcoming consolidation of the Landesbank sector, the business unit will be merged with the Group Development business unit. The newly formed business unit will be run jointly by Peter Minhorst and Matthias Wargers.
Dr. Anneke Neuhaus will assume responsibility for Group Communications with immediate effect. Dr. Neuhaus was previously Head of Group Marketing at WestLB AG and was the deputy of Marc-Sven Kopka. Before joining WestLB, she was Head of Communications and Marketing for the Private Wealth Management division at Deutsche Bank AG, Frankfurt.
