WestLB Singled Out For Its Exemplary Sustainability Management
Ranked first among German banks
Germany’s future e.v., a corporate environmental initiative, and IÖW, an institute for ecological business research, recently published the results of their 2007 review of German companies’ sustainability management reports. WestLB took first place with a large lead in the financial services sector and also finished fifth in the overall ranking across all sectors and industries. “We are gratified to see that our sustainability report is the best of its kind in the banking sector while a number of other rankings and ratings have also highlighted our sustainability achievements at the product level”, commented Foster Deibert, head of WestLB’s Sustainability Management unit.. more...
