The advance report by WirtschaftsWoche magazine regarding WestLB´s Boxclever transaction constitutes unfounded speculation. The amount referred to in the report in respect of possible further write-downs is completely without foundation. The restructuring process is proceeding on schedule and the negotiations with the banks are making good progress.
