US$ 70 Million Transaction for Multigrain Trading AG
WestLB AG, Düsseldorf/Münster, as mandated lead arranger, has syndicated a US$ 70 million commodity trade financing for Multigrain Trading AG of Switzerland. The transaction covers the advance payment to Brazilian soja bean producers, the storage financing and the export of the goods as well as the hedging of the price risk for the financed goods.
Multigrain Trading AG is the trading company of Multigrain Group, domiciled in Sao Paulo, Brasil. The core business of the Group involves trading in agricultural goods, mainly soja beans and wheat from South America. The Group´s business partners are international trading companies throughout the world.
