WestLB Strengthens Trading Team
WestLB AG, Düsseldorf/Münster, has strengthened its trading team in Düsseldorf. Heinz-Joachim Friese, aged 40, will join WestLB Global Financial Markets on September 8, 2003 as the new Head of Jumbo Pfandbriefe Trading. He has been appointed as a Director and was previously with Deutsche Bank. Friese will be responsible for trading Covered Bonds and Supranationals and will report to Bruno Usai, Head of EUR Fixed Income Trading.
Bruno Usai commented: "Heinz-Joachim is well-known in the market for his product knowledge and expertise in Jumbo Pfandbriefe as well as Agencies, Sovereigns and Supras. He will enable WestLB to strengthen its presence in the Covered Bond market, with a particular focus on German Jumbo Pfandbriefe."
