WestLB Global Hedge Index Certificates Based on “Artificial Intelligence”
Holders of WestLB Global Hedge Index Certificates invest in the major global equity markets, which are represented by the following indices: Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50SM, FTSETM 100, Nasdaq 100, Nikkei 225 and S&P 500®. Investors opt for an "alternative investment", the aim of which is to achieve stable absolute income through the purchase and sale of futures positions in the five indices. The basis for the investment decisions is provided by the professional data processing system Fin4Cast®, which was developed by Siemens AG (Austria). The Fin4Cast® software is subject to an ongoing, self-optimising "learning process". By investing in 50% long and 50% short futures positions, a neutral strategy is pursued to ensure stable income. The composition of the index is reviewed and adjusted weekly to ensure a timely response to market developments. WestLB Global Hedge Index Certificates can already be acquired for a small capital investment.
